What the appointment covers
The free clinic appointment is a focused consultation with Dr Ahmad — your symptom history, triggers, pattern, and the impact on daily life, with a cardiovascular examination and risk assessment. You receive a written summary you can share with your GP. If anything needs urgent evaluation, you will be told clearly and immediately.
For suitable low-risk patients, on the day:
- 12-lead ECG — free for suitable low-risk patients: a standard resting 12-lead ECG on the same visit, interpreted by Dr Ahmad.
- One-week Kardia rhythm monitoring — £70, if clinically appropriate: a KardiaMobile loaned for one week with the OpenPalp self-guided booklet. You review your own recordings; there is no follow-up appointment. Offered only if it is clinically appropriate, and there is no obligation to proceed.
